Why, oh Why . . . . . .

. . . . do I have trouble doing what I say I’m going to do? Maybe it’s because I am such a procrastinator or maybe it’s because I just didn’t feel like being in the dungeon yesterday. Either way, I have to stop saying things that I may not do.

I know that I promised to highlight some of my store kits each day. But yesterday I just didn’t feel like it. I have to admit that I’m somewhat discouraged right now. I can’t spend a lot of time at the computer or in the dungeon (not exactly sure what is going on) and I’m tired of being down here when the family is upstairs. I’m also discouraged because, since I haven’t given away freebies for a while, my blog readership has gone down. I was hoping that folks weren’t just stopping by for the freebies, but I guess that I was wrong. I’m glad that you all like the freebies, but I just can’t continue to give things away. I have to earn some $$ and that’s why my kits go into the store.

I appreciate you that have made a purchase. Thank you! Believe it or not, selling my kits for only $1 earns me about 67 cents. That’s ok, because I’d rather earn a little something than nothing at all. I know how tight things are for everyone and have kits sell for only $1 allows those of you on an already tight budget to splurge a little. After all, most of us spend more than that on a cup of coffee! Regardless, I’m going to continue to do what I’m doing.

I’m also discouraged because this computer is giving me fits and I can’t always do what I’d like. I have to start saving for a new model (this one is about 4-5 yrs. old and even with the new RAM is just not cutting it). Even though I HATE doing this, I'm going to put a donate button on this blog. If you’d like to donate any amount, you can do so through PayPal. Every cent that comes in through that donate button, will be used for a new computer (probably a laptop so that I can be upstairs with the family and still design). Thanks in advance for any help that you can give!

On to today’s highlighted kits; This first kit was a mini freebie of sorts some time ago. I’ve added and changed things.

Haunted Halloween contains 15 papers and 67 elements. Among those elements is a corner spider web and a spider to go with it! You also receive an upper case alphabet (seen in the bottom left corner of the preview.

This next kit is a great companion kit to “April Showers”. If you think of the saying “April showers bring May flowers” then you have the name of this kit.

Bring May Flowers contains 15 papers and 69 elements. As the name implies, this kit is full of flowers of various kinds and colors.

By the way, all of my kits are available as full size, tagger size or Scrapbook Max! booster packs. You just have to let me know which format you want when you make your purchase.

I’d love to hear from you either in my chat box or by commenting on this post. I’d love to see the layouts that you make with any of my kits.

Most of all, I appreciate those of you that have stuck by me through the drought of freebies and lack of posting. I wish that I had all day to design freebies for you -- believe me, I would. But, that’s not to be. I’m just thankful for your faithfulness to me as a designer.

Blessings,

You don't need to apologize for doing what you need to :-) I must admit though that I rarely come, NOT because of the lack of freebies, but because of the lack of time. I am not sure what the problem is but I feel like I am drowning here. I am behind on EVERYTHING except maybe laundry. I feel like I have less time to do things, not sure how nothing really has changed, but seem to be doing less. I used to faithfully blog stalk every day, I used to exercise almost every day, I used to keep up with my weight loss website every day, I used to track my food and track my workouts, I really honestly have no idea what has changed, other than I can't keep up with anything :-( It is very frustrating. So know that I still love your designs, but I am a huge slacker lately! lol Good luck in all that you do. :-)

I don't visit your blog just for freebies. Those are nice. Medical issues have gotten the best of me plus more computer problems on my end.
I came today just so I could re-look at some of your kits for when my disability check comes I can get some stuff.
I understand completely how you feel and you really need to earn some money. I'm glad you have talent to pass on to us. I don't have that same talent so look to others.
My darling husband downloaded 4 trojans recently and in the end I had to re-install my operating system. Unfornately, my extral hard drive was plugged in at the same time he did all this so alot of stuff was lost including my scrapbook max program. I will be seeing you for some stuff sometime in the next week.

Thanks, my friends. You both are a real encouragement to me!

As for the Scrapbook Max! program, you should be able to re-install it. If you didn't order the CD and got just the download link, contact the company, explain what happened and they will probably send you the link again. You may need to verify some information for them, but that happened to me and they were very accommodating. If they do send you a new link, after you download, burn it to a CD so that you have it for any possible future mishaps. Let me know if I can help!
