That’s what’s been going on in my house this week. I’ve been having fun! Yesterday I spent a good part of the day with my dd catching up on the episodes of “Lost” that we have missed (we try to do that when my dh is away since he doesn’t like the show). We are finally caught up. The thing is, we aren’t really thrilled with the program any more, but since we have watched it from the beginning, we wanted to know how it is going to end. It gets more and more bizarre as the weeks progress. Just a few more episodes and it’s done!
I’ve also been having fun with some plaid patterns that I’ve been making as you can tell in the paper packs that I have given you this week. I have another one for you today. Once again it has 3 plaids with 2 coordinating plain papers. The plaids have a slight canvas texture to them and the plain papers today are crumpled ones. This time I was even able to get the booster pack and tagger size done at the same time! Will wonders never cease?!? LOL!! I hope you enjoy!

. . . the best laid plans of mice and men. Well, the plans of this designer always seem to go awry. I had such good intentions yesterday of getting another freebie posted for you, but you know how that turned out. My creative juices started flowing and before I knew it the day was gone. But that just means I’m working on another new kit for you and this one will be a total freebie for 1 week when it’s done.
My intended freebie for yesterday is turning out to be part of my next kit, so I had to make some changes. You ARE getting a freebie, though. I’ve made some more plaid papers with coordinating plain papers like the last ones that I gave you. Here’s the preview and stuff for this freebie.

One of the things that I like about my daughter’s style is that the focus of her pages is on the photos and not the elements. After all, I don’t know about you, but that’s why I scrap, whether traditional scrapping or digital scrapping. I want to preserve my memories and stories for years to come. I want my albums and photo books to be about the pictures not the paper or embellishments.

I made an executive decision the other day concerning my CT (I think that it’s allowed, since it’s my CT, LOL!). My 18-yr. old daughter does some lovely digital scrapping and of course has access to all of my kits. So I decided to ask her if she wanted to join my CT. She said yes!
