Finally!!

I’ve finally gotten my computer up and running to the point that I can post freebies and design again!  Yippppeeeeee!!!!!!  It’s nice to have the computer working the way that it should, at least for now.  I’m still saving for a new one, but for now this dinosaur will have to do!

Okay, since I’ve not been able to post any freebies all week, I’ll actually post the last 2 QP’s from the ADSD blog train, Spring Fling.  The first is made from parts of the train and the second is made from parts of my Spring Fling kit that can be found in my store.  Images are linked so just click on them for download.

Happy Belated Mother’s Day and a Freebie

Once again I’m late with this wish, but it comes from the heart nonetheless!  I sure hope that all of you mothers had a great day yesterday.  Our normal routine is to go out for Chinese on this day so that I don’t have to cook.  However, this year, we hosted about 8 of our son’s college friends for the last time.  It’s become a semester ritual to have the guys over between the end of classes and the beginning of finals.  Yesterday was the only day that worked for them, so we went for it.  It was wonderful!  I’m in my glory hostessing all of those young men -- they are so grateful for the time away and a home cooked meal even though we only grilled hamburgers and hotdogs.  But the fellowship is also sweet.

Since our son is graduating on Saturday, this semester ritual has come to an end.  A new chapter begins, though, and I am looking forward to what the Lord has in store for our son and our family!  I’ll be sure to post pics of the graduation and of course the layouts that I put together.

Another QP For You

I’ll be you thought that I had forgotten about the next quick page that I have for you.  I didn’t forget you.  Life just somehow always gets in the way.  I’m finally feeling better, but now the rest of the family’s allergies have gotten the best of them.  In a few days we’ll all be back to normal -- just in time for my son’s graduation and valedictory address!  I can’t wait!

I’ve been doing some research into actually have someone host my blog so that you can have direct downloads.  This would mean that all the files would be moved away from MediaFire and any of the other freebie file saving sites.  I know that you would all love that!  That could also mean that I would actually have my own store with immediate downloads after payment is made (you know, like most of the stores out there).  I’d be able to have a gallery and a forum all at the same place with nobody threatening to close the forum since there has been no activity.  It will eventually be done but most likely not until sometime this summer.  It depends on lots of factors, but mainly $$.

Please share your layouts with me.  I really would like to showcase what you have done with my kits and even the QP’s that I make for you.

Spring Fling Blog Train

Once again, it’s that time in the ADSD forum -- blog train time!! We’re a small group this month, but I believe that you will like what you see. Remember, we are all on different time zones, so be patient and give participants to get their part up.

However, I’ll be turning my contribution into a full kit and it will be available in my store on May 1. Surprise Freebie!

I decided that it was time for another freebie!  I’ve been playing with some new actions that I purchased.  I’ve been meaning to make some seamless glitter tiles to go with each of my kits, but never quite got around to it.  But this afternoon, I decided to try again!  I used the colors from Moonlight & Roses to make seamless glitter tiles for you Paint Shop Pro users and then I made each of the seamless glitter tiles into patterns and styles for you Photoshop users.  So, in the download there is something for everyone!  The preview is below with the download link below that.  This will only be available as a freebie until March 13.  At that time, all of the Moonlight & Roses freebies will no longer be available.  So snag while you can!!

 

I haven’t had a chance to work on QP’s yet, but that is my next project!

Blog Train Freebie

Once again it’s freebie time! The ADSD train has left the station! This month our theme was “Moonlight & Roses”. We had a beautiful color palette to work with.

My computer has been working a little better thanks to my wonderful son. He took the video card out of his desktop (which he doesn’t use at the moment since he has a laptop for school) and put it in my dinosaur. That has helped immensely! There is still hope for a new computer, though. I’m just not sure when. But I do know this much, when I get my new baby, the video card is NOT going to be integrated!! I’ve learned a few things in the past 6+ years when it comes to computers.

I know you didn’t come by for that. This month’s train is only four people, but I think that you will like what you see. My preview and download link are below.

I actually made this kit into a full kit but that will be going into my store. I wanted to have the preview done for you to post along with the freebie, but life got in the way and I wasn’t able to get it done. Hopefully it will get posted sometime this week. It turned out to be a huge kit. I hope that you will stop by the store and take a look at it!
