Fun, Fun, Fun

That’s what’s been going on in my house this week. I’ve been having fun! Yesterday I spent a good part of the day with my dd catching up on the episodes of “Lost” that we have missed (we try to do that when my dh is away since he doesn’t like the show). We are finally caught up. The thing is, we aren’t really thrilled with the program any more, but since we have watched it from the beginning, we wanted to know how it is going to end. It gets more and more bizarre as the weeks progress. Just a few more episodes and it’s done!

I’ve also been having fun with some plaid patterns that I’ve been making as you can tell in the paper packs that I have given you this week. I have another one for you today. Once again it has 3 plaids with 2 coordinating plain papers. The plaids have a slight canvas texture to them and the plain papers today are crumpled ones. This time I was even able to get the booster pack and tagger size done at the same time! Will wonders never cease?!? LOL!! I hope you enjoy!

Early Morning

It’s earlier than I usually post but I’ve been up for a while. My daughter is on a regime to lose some weight and has been walking in the morning. Each evening before heading up to bed, she asks me it I’m going to walk with her. Usually I say no -- I’m just NOT a morning person. However, last night I said yes and I actually made it out of bed earlier than expected. We had a great 30 minute invigorating walk.

I think that I will need to be joining her more often. I’ve been having difficulty getting my sugar under control and don’t want to be put on medication for my diabetes. I know that the walking will help a lot. So, it looks like I’ll become an early riser! It will be good for my health in many ways, though, so it’s a good thing.

Resting

This ‘n That

Why is it I never seem to get done what I have planned on doing? Something always gets in the way. Wednesday was not as productive as I would have wanted which means some of that work carried over to yesterday and then that messed up today. The laundry is piling up here in the dungeon as are the multitude of other jobs that need to be done. Such is my life!

Part 3 of Free Spirit is your freebie for today. I sure hope that you have been enjoying this kit. I was at a loss for where to begin and time was getting away from me. I finally got my inspiration and completed this kit in 2-3 days. It’s not the way I like to work on a kit, but I think that it worked for this one.
