Snow, Snow, Snow, Snow, Snow . . .

. . . and a freebie for you!

Well, it has happened. When I really didn’t want the snow, we got hammered and are still getting hammered. Sometime on Wednesday, NYC was put under a winter storm warning and it’s still in effect until Saturday, 6:00 am! It snowed, mixed with rain, all day yesterday, last evening and it’s still snowing. So far the official amount in NYC is 18” and we’re supposed to get another couple of inches by tomorrow morning.

Now you all know that I absolutely adore this white gold, but this time around . . . not so much. We still have to make it to Pennsylvania tomorrow for my grandmother’s funeral. My dh has the message at the service and besides, this is my grandmother. I don’t want to miss this service. We should be ok if we take our time, however, since we will mainly be on the NJ and PA turnpikes. Those roads are usually cleared pretty quickly. I’m praying for safety and ask that you do the same.

This funeral will be quite interesting. As I mentioned in a previous post, my family is quite large. My mom and aunt figured out that there are 89 grands, great grands and great great grands. That’s a lot of kids (and that doesn’t include spouses!!). About 60+ of us are going to be at the memorial service. So, they (my mom and aunt) have decided that the entire family will be singing at the end of the service. We are also a very musical family and I’m looking forward to being part of this choir! The service is going to be videotaped so that my cousin, who is a missionary in Bolivia and can’t come home, will be able to see the service.

I appreciate the support that I have received from all of you! It means a lot.

Now for your freebie! Here’s the preview and download links for part 6 of A Time to Love freebie.

That’s about it for today. I’ll be writing tomorrow’s post sometime later today since I will be gone most of the day tomorrow.

Wow your wee fingers must be cold righting down in the dungeaon with all that snow. Northern Scotland is under about 20" the now, but we like you are getting a right mixture of rain, snow and sleet.

I pray your journey is safe tomorrow and all goes well at the funeral. There's nothing like afamily funeral to bring out the love in people.

Thank you so much for this amazing kit. You've put so much hard work into it,

love and angel blessings xxx

Hello Carolyn,
Sad to hear your grandmother died, but 96 years is a beautiful age to reach I think.
I hope your trip to Pensylvania went well. I certainly think it's a great way of saying goodbye to her singing for her at her funeral with the whole family!
Thanks for this great new freebie parts!

I only downloaded the scrapbookmax version (tried twice) and it says this is not scrapbookmax format.

Hmmm, that's interesting. After making the booster packs I always install them to make sure they work correctly and I had no problems with any of them. I'll check it out and get back to you.
